Finding New Customers
Finds the companies that don't know you yet
What is Finding New Customers?
Finding New Customers is an automated search method that scans openly stated needs across a business's service area and lists prospective customers who have not yet been contacted. luup runs this skill once the service area, channels and consent rules are defined; every candidate found passes a permission check before contact, and anyone already on your books drops off the list.
New customers only ever come from the people who managed to find you; the ones who didn't, you never hear about.
People who wrote their need down somewhere are listed and enter the contact queue.
How does it work?
- 1
Scope is defined
The business decides which area, which service and which phrasings to look for.
- 2
Signals are gathered
Openly stated expressions of need are collected from public sources.
- 3
The list is filtered
Existing customers, duplicates and irrelevant hits are removed.
- 4
It enters the queue
What remains is checked for consent and added to the contact queue.
What does it need?
A skill with a missing precondition is not hidden in the panel — it is shown with the gap. Hiding what is required only produces disappointment during setup.
- A defined service area
- Consent and Opt-In Checks
- At least one outbound channel
What it deliberately does not do
Claiming a result is easy. What follows is not a claim but a set of limits the product enforces mechanically: the skill cannot do these things, because a layer that cannot be switched off stops it.
- It collects nothing a person did not publish themselves; it does not scrape closed sources.
- It starts no call or message to a number without consent.
- It never puts an existing customer of yours into the prospect list.
Where it sits on the autonomy ladder
A 0–4 ladder decides how much the assistant may do without asking you, and it is set separately for each channel and each topic. The meaning of each rung is the same across every skill.
Finding New Customers comes into play at rung 2 of the ladder.
- 0
Listens only
Writes nothing to customers; it only records.
- 1
Drafts a reply
Writes it but does not send it; the draft waits in the panel.
- 2
Waits for approval
The reply is ready; sending it is your decision.
- 3
Answers on its own
Sends, and stops to call you in when it gets stuck.
- 4
Full authority
Books, quotes and collects payment.
Wherever the ladder sits, every outgoing message passes the Conversation Rules and the consent check; neither layer can be switched off.

Sık sorulanlar
Finding New Customers only uses publicly stated expressions of need that the person shared themselves, and it checks permission status before contact. No call or message is started to a number without consent; that check is enforced by the Consent and Opt-In Checks.
It is most productive where need is stated out loud: appliance repair, real estate and automotive, for example. Where need stays private, the signal is thin and the skill produces fewer results.
Finding New Customers is in beta. It needs more definition during setup than other skills, and its results vary by region.
