Competitor Review Tracking

Catches the customer your competitor just disappointed

What is Competitor Review Tracking?

Competitor Review Tracking is a method that watches publicly shared negative reviews of competing businesses in an industry and identifies customers whose search for a provider is still open. luup runs this skill purely on public reviews; the assistant never comments on a competitor during contact, and no call or message is started to a number without permission.

With the skill off

A customer let down by a competitor quietly goes somewhere else, and never hears of you.

With the skill on

If the dissatisfaction was written down openly, it is noticed and contact is made in time.

How does it work?

  1. 1

    Rivals are listed

Businesses offering the same service in the same area are listed.

  2. 2

    Public reviews are watched

Signals of dissatisfaction in public reviews are collected.

  3. 3

    Is the search still open?

Whether the complaint has already been resolved is assessed.

  4. 4

    Contact is proposed

Suitable cases pass a consent check and enter the queue.

What does it need?

A skill with a missing precondition is not hidden in the panel — it is shown with the gap. Hiding what is required only produces disappointment during setup.

What we measureHow many rival-sourced contacts turned into work.
  • A list of competitors
  • Consent and Opt-In Checks
  • A defined service area

What it deliberately does not do

Claiming a result is easy. What follows is not a claim but a set of limits the product enforces mechanically: the skill cannot do these things, because a layer that cannot be switched off stops it.

  • It never comments on a competitor during contact and draws no comparison.
  • It does not reply underneath the review; it only flags a person still looking.
  • It leaves out anyone whose complaint already looks resolved.

Where it sits on the autonomy ladder

A 0–4 ladder decides how much the assistant may do without asking you, and it is set separately for each channel and each topic. The meaning of each rung is the same across every skill.

Competitor Review Tracking comes into play at rung 2 of the ladder.

  1. 0

    Listens only

Writes nothing to customers; it only records.

  2. 1

    Drafts a reply

Writes it but does not send it; the draft waits in the panel.

  3. 2

    Waits for approval

The reply is ready; sending it is your decision.

  4. 3

    Answers on its own

Sends, and stops to call you in when it gets stuck.

  5. 4

    Full authority

    Books, quotes and collects payment.

Wherever the ladder sits, every outgoing message passes the Conversation Rules and the consent check; neither layer can be switched off.

Sık sorulanlar

No. The skill only identifies a person whose search is still open; the assistant does not comment on a competitor during contact. Rules you write into the conversation rules enforce that boundary separately.

The skill reads only public reviews that people published themselves, and permission is checked before contact. No call or commercial message goes to a number without consent.

In industries where reviews are dense and candid: appliance repair, automotive, beauty and hospitality. Where review culture is weak, the signal is thin.
